I made this for the book six party. My husband rolled his eyes and my neighbor looked worried for me. A shrewd friend asked me if I wanted to be Ron's mother or his wife. To which I had no other reply than, "Shut up!"
I really made it to stand in solidarity with poor Mrs. Weasley and Julie Walters, both
of whom were completely shut out of the Goblet of Fire movie.
I always sob hysterically at the bit at the end of the book where, after Harry's had his
ass handed to him by You-Know-Who, Mrs. Weasley gives him a hug and Harry doesn't know how
to deal with it because he's never had a hug from a mom-like figure.
I just think a Mrs. Weasley hug would have added as much to the film as say, half an hour
of dragon action.
And that is the story I stand behind, so shut up. I know my love for Ron is a little off.

This was made with 20 gauge craft wire, which as you can see has completely discolored over time. It's on a sterling silver chain, and has a 4mm black onyx bead in the middle. I always meant to make another in sterling when I had more time, but alas. I never have. Maybe for book seven.
